Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their stay. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a passion for hospitality and a desire to create memorable experiences for our guests.
Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with a warm welcome
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes
- Provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain accurate guest records and reservation information
- Process payments and maintain cash handling procedures
- Operate phone systems and handle incoming calls with proper phone etiquette
- Assist with night audit duties as needed
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction
Requirements:
- Previous experience in hotel management or front desk operations is preferred
- Fluent in multiple languages is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Knowledge of hospitality industry practices and procedures
- Familiarity with hotel reservation systems is desirable
